HISTORY

Atlantic Shrimpers Limited has been active in shrimp trawling since the 1990s. The fleet was gradually expanded from 25 to the present 70 vessels and in 2001 Atlantic Shrimpers Limited obtained its own dry dock. At the fishing terminal Atlantic Shrimpers Limited also has bunker, workshop and coldstorage facilities, as well as an in-house lab. Atlantic Shrimpers Limited and Primstar B.V. have together recently invested in a sound traceability system which can track and trace all the catch from every vessel right from packing on board to delivery at the clients' cold stores. The intrinsic value of the brand Prim7Stars is based on consistency, both in terms of quantity and quality.
